Terms of Service

Using the Services

• You must be able to form a binding contract and, if you use the Services for an organization, be authorized to bind it.
• You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the rights and permissions to submit it.
• Audit and scanning services may be used only on systems, repositories, endpoints and data you own or are authorized to assess.
• You may not use the Services to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack or overload systems, attempt to bypass payment or security controls, or resell the Services except under a written agreement with us.

Pay-per-call APIs

• Prices are shown in the 402 payment request returned by each API and on our APIs page. Payment is made in USDC on the Base network through the x402 protocol before the result is returned.
• Blockchain payments are final once settled. If a paid call fails because of an error on our side, contact operations@blackknightstech.com with the transaction reference and we will review it in good faith.
• We may change prices, add or retire endpoints, or apply rate limits. Changes do not affect calls already paid for.

Results are decision support

Results are technical findings based on the information supplied and observed at the time of the request, using disclosed methods. They are not legal, financial or regulatory advice, not a security or government certification, and not a guarantee that any system, claim, source or release is safe, true, lawful or fit for a purpose. You remain responsible for your own decisions.

Licensing, OEM and white-label

Licenses, OEM, white-label and private deployments are offered only under a separate written agreement. Nothing on this website grants a license to our software beyond use of the Services as described here.

Ownership

We own the Services, our software and our trademarks. You keep ownership of the content you submit and grant us permission to process it to provide the Services. You receive the right to use the results you pay for.

Disclaimer

Except as stated in a signed agreement, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Black Knight Transportation LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the Services for any use that violates these terms or puts the Services or others at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

Changes and contact
