Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Inquiries. When you use Contact Sales we collect your name, company, email address, area of interest and message.
• Accounts. If you are given a workspace account we collect your email address, sign-in credentials (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider), multi-factor settings and the records you create in the workspace.
• Partner applications. If you apply to our partner program we collect the details you submit in the application.
• API requests. When you call a paid API we process the request content you send in order to produce the result, and we keep technical logs such as time, endpoint, response status and payment transaction reference.
• Payments. Pay-per-call APIs are paid in USDC on the Base blockchain through the x402 protocol. Wallet addresses and transaction details are recorded on a public blockchain and are visible to anyone; we do not collect card or bank details for these payments.
• Technical data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and aggregate traffic statistics.

How we use information

• To respond to inquiries and prepare proposals.
• To provide, secure, operate and support our software and APIs.
• To review partner applications and administer agreements.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the content of your API requests to market to you.

How information is shared

We share information only with service providers that host and operate our services on our behalf (such as our database, authentication and hosting providers and payment facilitators), when required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Service providers may process information only to provide their services to us.

Storage and retention

Information is stored with our infrastructure providers, which may be located in the United States or other countries. We keep inquiries and account records for as long as needed to provide our services and conduct business, and technical logs for as long as needed for security, billing and troubleshooting. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing operations@blackknightstech.com. We may need to keep certain records where the law requires it. Information written to a public blockchain cannot be changed or deleted by us.

Cookies and browser storage

Signed-in workspaces store a session token in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Separate platforms

KAI (kainetwork.tech) and Black Knight DSS (blackknightdss.life) are operated on their own sites and may publish their own policies.
