- How do I call a Black Knight API without an account? Send a POST request to the endpoint. It replies with HTTP 402 Payment Required and the price. Pay it with an x402 client in USDC on the Base network and the result is returned. No account or API key is needed.
- What is x402? x402 is an open payment protocol that uses the HTTP 402 status code so software and AI agents can pay for an API call per request, typically in USDC stablecoin, without signing up for an account.
- How much do the APIs cost? Prices are per call and range from $0.01 (ProofForge Claim Check, A.C.E. Part Identity Resolver) to $10 (ProofForge Deep Verification Pack). TaskForge audits cost $0.10 to $0.75. Every endpoint and price is listed on the APIs page.
- What can TaskForge audit? TaskForge checks MCP servers, AI agent permissions, CI/CD pipelines, x402 payment endpoints, API catalog endpoint health and release readiness. Only audit systems you own or are authorized to assess.
